Hi there, Jenny, and thanks so much for stopping by with your question here at planDisney!
I certainly understand that vacation details sometimes change - I've been there as well! Luckily, your
theme park tickets come with quite a bit of flexibility. The exact expiration dates for your tickets will depend on when you purchased them and the type of tickets you purchased, so I would double-check the email you received when you purchased them to confirm these details. Note that these details are if you purchased your tickets through
Disneyland.com or the
Disneyland Mobile app.
If you purchased one-day tickets this year, they are valid through December 30, 2024. If, instead you purchased multi-day tickets this year, then they must be used within 13 days of first use or by January 12, 2025, whichever occurs first.
While your theme park tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable, you're still covered even if your tickets expire before you're able to use them. If you need to delay your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth passed your tickets' expiration date, then you can still apply the credit of those tickets toward a future purchase of Disneyland Resort tickets (as long as your current tickets remain unused). If that ends up happening, I would recommend calling a Cast Member on the
Tickets phone line to help apply that credit.
With so many new experiences coming to the Disneyland Resort this year like new nighttime spectaculars as part of the
Disney100 celebration and the
grand reopening of Toontown in Disneyland Park, I'm hopeful you'll be able to visit this year! My two favorite times of the year to visit are right now, in this January-February time frame, where there are typically a bit lighter crowds, and then during the holiday season around November-December to really get into the holiday spirit.
I hope this was helpful, Jenny! I'd be happy to help you with any other details or follow-up questions you might have - feel free to
write me back directly if so.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
