I recently purchased tickets for my family and another family. All are under my Disney account. What should I do for creating the magic mobile passes so that we don't all have to stay together and it will be on their phones as well?

Hi Stacey! Thank you for visiting us at planDisney with your question! I'm so excited to hear that you are planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

We just had a multi-generational family vacation at Walt Disney World Resort and found that it's very easy to separate tickets and create Disney MagicMobile passes for everyone, even when they were purchased under another Disney account.

In order to create a Disney MagicMobile Pass, each guest must have a valid theme park ticket or Disney Resort Hotel reservation linked to their own personal Disney account. If they do not have an account, they will need to create a My Disney Experience account first. Then, they will need to link the ticket to their account.

Once everyone has their own My Disney Experience account and has linked their theme park ticket, they will need to download the My Disney Experience app on their mobile device. Once on the app, tap the three lines in the lower right corner. Then, find and tap "Disney MagicMobile" and follow the directions to set up the pass.

If there is anyone that will not have a mobile device during their visit, they can purchase and use a MagicBand instead. These can be purchased at many locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort or online at shopDisney. Using a MagicBand is especially fun and easy if you have any little ones visiting with you that will not have a mobile device. There are many colorful options as well as character designs to choose from! The MagicBand will work just like the Disney MagicMobile Pass.

After everyone has linked their theme park tickets, it is very important for each person to make a theme park reservation for each day that they would like to visit a theme park. If you or anyone in your party is staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you can enjoy early entry at the theme parks!

As you are planning your visit, be sure to check out what's waiting for you at The World's Most Magical Celebration! Our family loves to ride all of the rides, eat all of the snacks, and end the day watching fireworks! Our favorite memory last month was watching the new nighttime spectacular, Harmonious, at EPCOT!

I hope you have fun planning your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth! Please stop back by planDisney if I can help you with any other questions!

    Happy Planning!
