We recently purchased Passholder passes for our whole family and we have a 12 year old who currently lives outside the home with her mother. We were told that when we pick up the tickets we will need her birth cert, but is it a must?

We just purchased Annual Passes for our own family through the Walt Disney World Ticket Store, too. When we picked up our Annual Passes at Magic Kingdom this past September, my husband and I needed to show photo ID which showed that we live at the same address. But the kids? (13 and 10) Absolutely not. I've never needed to show a birth certificate in order to pick up an Annual Pass for one of my children, and we've done this at least five times over the course of a decade.

If you mean a type of pass that's not an Annual Pass, please send me another message, just in case it makes a difference. I want to be sure that you're sure that you have all the documentation that you need when you go to pick up those "golden tickets"!
