I have recently purchased passes for my family. I see all the passes on my account and we are good to go. How do I allow my children access to their passes on my account? We don’t always arrive together.

Hi there, Bill, and welcome to planDisney!

Thank you for bringing your question to us. We're always happy to assist a fellow Disneyland Guest. I love visiting the Disneyland Resort with my family. Even though we don't always stick together throughout our visit, we always congregate at mealtimes and make sure to grab a nice PhotoPass picture of the entire group!

I'm happy to report that it's really easy to share your children's passes with them so that they may enter the Parks without the need for you to be present. First of all, make sure everyone has the Disneyland Mobile App downloaded.

    • On your end, open the Disneyland Mobile App and press the ☰ Features menu. Select Tickets and Passes and swipe over to the Ticket that you would like to share.
    • For the family member to which you would like to share your ticket, have them open the Disneyland Mobile App on their phone. Press the ☰ Features menu and scroll down to "Link Account." From here, the easiest method would be to use their camera's phone to scan the bar code on their ticket off your phone. If you need to do this remotely, they can always enter the ticket ID # or have a screen shot sent to them.

And that's all there is to it! I find it really helpful to have all tickets linked under one account so that it's easier to book Lightning Lanes and sign up for virtual queues as a group. And one of my favorite places for a group PhotoPass shot is in front of the Avengers Campus entrance!

I hope that you and your family have a fantastic visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! If you are visiting sometime this year, make sure to enjoy the foods and decorations of the Disney100 Celebration. Also, remember that digital attraction photos are complimentary to download during the year-long party. I think a wonderful opportunity for an exciting family attraction photo is on Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT!

Bill, I hope you found this answer helpful and that you are successful in sharing your tickets with your family. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate in contacting us again here at planDisney!

As Stan Lee used to say, "Excelsior!"

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
