Welcome to planDisney, Kara Ann. I'm sorry you lost your MagicBand but glad you found another to replace it. My
MagicBand+ is one of my favorite accessories! When I put it on, I am transported to the magic. With my MagicBand and
Disney's complimentary transportation, which can whisk me from park to park like Tarzan, I can leave the worries of the world behind.
With your new MagicBand in hand, you can easily link it and deactivate your old one from your
My Disney Experience account.
To deactivate and report your lost MagicBand as lost:
- Go to "My Disney Experience" and select "My MagicBands and Cards" from the drop-down menu.
- Log into your account.
- Scroll to "Manage MagicBands or Cards."
- Select your Profile to see all of your MagicBands and cards.
- Under the one that was lost, select "Report Lost."
To link your new MagicBand:
- Staying on the "Manage MagicBands or Cards" page, scroll to the bottom of the page and select the blue box with "Link" in white text.
- Enter the code on the back of your new MagicBand.
- You should be all set!
You can also do this on the
My Disney Experience App.
- Select "≡" at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll to "Disney Account" and select "MagicBands & Cards."
- Under "MagicBand," find your lost one and select "Report as Lost."
- Select "Link" to add your new MagicBand.
- On the app, you can enter the code or use "Open Scanner to Link" and have the app find and connect your MagicBand to your account.
If you find your lost MagicBand, you can also go back to it on the app and change it to "Found."
