Hello Marci! Welcome to planDisney.
It was so wonderful to hear the news about
Disneyland Resort’s reopening, wasn’t it? I know so many of my friends and fellow panelists who are “Disneyland locals” are over-the-moon excited to return “home.” A visit to Disneyland Resort is on my bucket list – in fact, my Mousketeers and I were just talking about all the things we want to do there. My son “just wants to sit on a bench and imagine Walt sat there once,” which is such a lovely little thought.
I’m sorry to hear that you accidentally purchased a
Walt Disney World Resort theme park ticket instead of a ticket for
Disneyland Resort. Unfortunately, Walt Disney World theme park tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, and the two United States Disney Parks operate independently, so the tickets don’t transfer between them.
I do recommend calling Guest Services at (407) 939-2273 to see if there are any options available to you. I’m sending pixie-dusted wishes your way! Whether your plans find you at the Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort, I highly recommend reading the
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest news about the Disney Parks. There are so many exciting things coming this year on both coasts - let the magic begin!
Wishing you a great big beautiful tomorrow,
Robyn
