Hello.. I recently purchased Disney World tickets, by mistake. Can Disney World tickets be used at Disneyland?

    Hello Marci! Welcome to planDisney.

It was so wonderful to hear the news about Disneyland Resort’s reopening, wasn’t it? I know so many of my friends and fellow panelists who are “Disneyland locals” are over-the-moon excited to return “home.” A visit to Disneyland Resort is on my bucket list – in fact, my Mousketeers and I were just talking about all the things we want to do there. My son “just wants to sit on a bench and imagine Walt sat there once,” which is such a lovely little thought.

I’m sorry to hear that you accidentally purchased a Walt Disney World Resort theme park ticket instead of a ticket for Disneyland Resort. Unfortunately, Walt Disney World theme park tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, and the two United States Disney Parks operate independently, so the tickets don’t transfer between them.

I do recommend calling Guest Services at (407) 939-2273 to see if there are any options available to you. I’m sending pixie-dusted wishes your way! Whether your plans find you at the Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort, I highly recommend reading the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest news about the Disney Parks. There are so many exciting things coming this year on both coasts - let the magic begin!

Wishing you a great big beautiful tomorrow,
    Robyn
