Hi! I just recently purchased an Annual Pass. I will be visiting WDW in two weeks and staying at AoA resort. Can I get my AP card and activate it in the resort or do I still have to go to Guest Relations to do that?

Hi Joycelyn! First, congratulations on becoming an Annual Passholder! I am an Annual Passholder myself and I love being able to visit the theme parks more often with it.

You will need to activate your Annual Pass by taking your exchange certificate and valid photo ID to any theme park ticket window or to Guest Relations in Disney Springs. Each person in your party that is activating a pass needs to be present. The Cast Member assisting you will give you your Annual Pass card. You will be able to immediately enter the theme parks (as long as you aren't in blockout dates), use your Annual Pass for merchandise and dining discounts at various locations, and if your Annual Pass includes PhotoPass downloads, you can start smiling for the camera right away, too!

I know you will enjoy your stay at Disney's Art of Animation Resort! In my opinion, it is one of the best themed resort hotels on Walt Disney World Resort property. Make sure to try some of the delicious offerings at Landscape of Flavors - there are a lot of choices! And if the weather is nice, take a swim in The Big Blue Pool to experience Disney songs underwater!

Hello all! I'm a happily married, proud mom to two young children, and I love to plan trips to Walt Disney World Resort. One of my favorite things about taking a Disney Parks vacation is that there is always something new and wonderful to discover, no matter if this is your first trip or if you visit multiple times per year. I'm excited to help you plan your next adventure!
