I recently got into Pin Trading and the new rules coming into effect at Disneyland on May 22nd are confusin: The official FAQ mentions small handheld pin-trading accessories are allowed but no information regarding size dimension is included anywhere.

Hi there, Griffin! I know exactly how you feel as I just recently got into pin trading myself. It’s a fun new hobby that I can’t wait to dive into when I’m at the parks, but let’s take a look at the FAQ to see what is suitable to bring or leave at home.

You’re absolutely right that the official Disneyland Pin Trading FAQ mentions small handheld pin trading accessories are permitted, but it does not provide specific size dimensions. I see this as more of a guideline to help Guests avoid bringing overly large collections or elaborate setups into the parks.

With that being said, I would stick to something small that can fit easily into a shoulder bag or backpack. I recently bought a pack of pin boards that are about the size of a 3.5 by 5 inch index card to take with me to the parks. They're nice and handy to keep with me and my small but mighty collection of pins. Just keep in mind that Cast Members do reserve the right to prohibit the use or storage of any item not listed under the Park Rules and Regulations or that they determine may be harmful or disruptive, in their discretion.

Griffin, thank you so much for visiting planDisney! I hope this information is helpful as you begin your pin trading journey at the parks. If you have any more questions or need help with pin trading, my bestie Scott is the BEST person to go to for all things pin trading!
