We recently moved to Florida and are interested in annual passes. Is there a pass that allows us to go the theme and waterparks on weekdays and weekends, and it covers parking?

    Hello, Angela!

Welcome to Florida, and thank you for reaching out to planDisney. It's wonderful to hear about your interest in becoming a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder. As a fellow Florida resident and Annual Passholder, I can tell you that having an Annual Pass offers fantastic flexibility for enjoying both the theme parks and water parks whenever you want – it truly adds a bit of magic to everyday life!

Walt Disney World offers several Annual Pass tiers specifically for Florida residents, each with its own set of benefits and access levels. Here’s a quick overview to help you find the perfect pass (Prices are subject to change without notice):

The Disney Pixie Dust Pass is the most economical option at $469 plus tax, allowing access to the theme parks on most weekdays, though it does have blockout dates, including weekends. The Disney Pirate Pass, priced at $829 plus tax, offers access on most days, including weekends, with some blockout dates during peak holiday times. Next, the Disney Sorcerer Pass, available to Florida residents and Disney Vacation Club members, costs $1,079 plus tax and provides theme park access on most days, with minimal blockout dates during select holiday periods. Lastly, the Disney Incredi-Pass is the top-tier option at $1,549 plus tax, granting year-round access with no blockout dates. All these passes include standard parking, so you can park at any of the theme parks without additional fees.

For water park access, you can add the Water Park and Sports Option to any of these passes for an additional $99 plus tax per year. This add-on provides admission to both Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, along with other sports activities. Personally, I find it wonderful to have the option to visit a water park on a warm day, making for a refreshing and fun experience!

Considering you’d like access to theme parks and water parks on both weekdays and weekends, the Disney Pirate Pass with the Water Park and Sports Option add-on could be a great fit. This combination allows flexibility for most days, including weekends, with some blockout dates during peak times.

As a Florida resident, you’ll also have the benefit of the Monthly Payment Program, allowing you to spread the cost over 12 months after an initial down payment, which makes it even easier to enjoy all that the Annual Pass has to offer.

I hope this information helps you choose the perfect pass for you and your family. If you have more questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Here’s to creating magical memories and enjoying all the flexibility an Annual Pass offers!

    Happy Planning!
