We recently moved to California and do not have our driver's licenses yet, HOWEVER, we have our utility bills and house purchase deed to show as proof of residency. Will these suffice to buy tickets as California residents?

    Hiya, Claudine!

Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by, and we are honored to answer your question regarding the purchase of Disneyland Theme Park Tickets!

All guests purchasing Disneyland Theme Park Tickets and making a Disneyland Theme Park Reservation will be required to make it through their My Disneyland Account, which is tied to their address. Also, when a guest makes a Disneyland Theme Park reservation, they will be required to certify that they are a California resident. These will be the two main ways to prove if a guest is a California resident. Since you recently moved to California, I would make sure the address on your My Disneyland account reflects where you are currently living. I also talked to a very helpful Cast Member, and she told me that a form of identification MAY be checked at the gate when you arrive to the Disneyland Theme Parks. To cover all of your bases, I recommend bringing a current utility bill to have ready to prove your current California residence.

As more and more TIGGER-ific information is shared about the phased reopening of the Disneyland Resort, I would highly recommend following Disneyland on all of its social media channels and subscribing to The Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date Disney information!

If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask! We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
