Hi there, Ryan!
Thanks for visiting planDisney, I hope you're enjoying college! I know I would definitely be making some time to visit the Disneyland Resort if I had just moved to California. I hope you will be able to make it work!
California Resident Ticket Offers always have
terms and conditions to go along with them. Typically, those requirements include a valid government-issued photo ID showing an address within a valid ZIP code. A student identification card won't qualify as a government-issued photo ID, so if you'll be in California for the next few years then you might consider updating your driver's license once you qualify for state residency.
I'm sorry that I don't have better news for you about resident tickets! Sometimes my work includes travel to California, but I don't have enough time to visit the theme parks. When that happens, I try to catch dinner in the
Downtown Disney District! There are lots of great places to eat, live music, and even
seasonal entertainment and activities. You might not be in the parks, but you'll definitely still feel the Disney magic!
Ryan, I wish you all the best in your studies! I hope you enjoy living in California and are able to visit the Disneyland Resort really soon.
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
