    Hi there! I recently got a Magicband+ that I was planning to use solely for Disneyland, but now may use it at Disney World. Can it be linked for both parks to one Magicband+? Or do I need to have a separate band for each park?

    Welcome to planDisney! I love that you are a bi-coastal Disney fan as I aspire to be one. Especially this year with the Disney100 celebration occurring at Disneyland Resort! 

    Your MagicBand+ can definitely be used in either Disneyland Resort or Walt Disney World Resort!

    Linking to either Resort is possible in four easy steps! 

    1. Press the button on the back of your MagicBand+ and tap it on your phone.
    2. Open the app for the Disney Park you want to visit. 
    3. Pair and link up your MagicBand+ by following the instructions on the screen. 
    4. Check and make sure everything looks good. 

    Bam! You're done! 

    Now each band works a little differently in each Park. I have found that it has more functionalities at Walt Disney World Resort than at Disneyland Resort. My favorite feature that's right now specific to Walt Disney World Resort is to use it for purchases. I love not having to take out my wallet and just "tap" to buy my merchandise and snacks. I hope you enjoy using your MagicBand+ at Walt Disney World Resort! It's a solid purchase. Just make sure to have a portable charger as it can need a charge if used at a lot of the interactive experiences that lead to lights and haptics. Don't worry though, if the battery fails it is still functional to use for Park and Lightning Lane entry tapping!

    I see that you are arriving during the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival! It's my favorite time of year and I wonder what new delights will be available to eat this year! Make sure to check it out and get a great picture in front of lovely topiary!
