Hi there, Erika!
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question! As a fellow Magic Key holder, I understand that sometimes life gets in the way of having fun. I'm so sorry that you had an emergency that prevented you from visiting
Disneyland Resort recently!
The
Magic Key No-Show Policy states that Magic Key holders who are a no-show for 3 reservations in any 90-day window will be unable to make new park reservations for 30 days. The 30-day period begins the day after the third no-show. Whether or not you get locked out of making park reservations for 30 days again depends on when the previous no-shows took place. I suggest trying to make another park reservation to see if you can do so at this time.
I know life throws us unexpected curveballs! When possible, I recommend canceling park reservations by 11:59 PM the night before your scheduled visit to avoid future penalties. If there is a chance that you cannot make it to the parks, it's best to cancel the day before and then try to make park reservations again on the day of your planned visit.
Have you visited
Magic Key terrace yet? It is a special dining lounge created just for Magic Key holders in Disney California Adventure Park! I like to make mid-afternoon reservations there so my family can enjoy light snacks (and sometimes dessert!) before having a late dinner elsewhere. We are big fans of having dessert before dinner on vacation! Dining reservations are available up to 60 days in advance on the Disneyland website.
Erika, I hope things settle down and you can spend more time at the Happiest Place on Earth! We hope to see you real soon!
Jen
