Hi Sarah,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question.
Disney Springs is such an awesome place to hang out, eat and drink tasty things, enjoy entertainment, and do some shopping – I think you’re going to really enjoy your stay so close to all that good magic.
Mine’s a military family, and life sometimes gets in the way of our Walt Disney World Resort vacation plans, so I’m a pro at changing resort reservations. I think you're asking about a reservation you've recently cancelled or changed in some way, but if I didn't quite get this right, please contact My Disney Experience support directly at (407) 939-4357 or come back and see us so we can help.
When you
cancel your existing reservation, it should disappear from your
My Disney Experience account within a few days. To link a new resort reservation using your
My Disney Experience mobile app, go to “My Plans” and select the + icon from the top right corner. From there, a menu of options will appear; scroll to select “Link Hotel.” You’ll be prompted to add your confirmation number, and then follow the steps. Should you encounter any trouble, please call (407) 939-7765 and a Cast Member can assist you.
If you have existing
FastPass+ selections, you’ll want to call before canceling your resort reservation, as those are linked to your resort stay, and it would
not be magical to have those disappear. It looks like you’re arriving in September, so just be sure you have your resort stay locked in and set up before your FastPass+ window opens up, and remember that you’ll need to have theme park tickets linked in your My Disney Experience account in order to make FastPass+ selections. Check with your Disney Springs Resort hotel to see if you will have access to the 60-day FastPass+ window that comes with select Disney Springs hotels – it’s a great
benefit of staying at a Disney resort hotel!
I hope I've understood your question, Sarah, and that you’re soon on your way to making lots of fun plans for your
Autumn visit to Walt Disney World. As you do your planning and Disney dreaming, be sure to read the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest news (I especially love their stories and photos about the latest treats), and come back and see us if we can answer any more questions.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
