I recently heard a rumor that I could bring my Disney refillable mugs from a past trip and have them re-activated for a discounted price ($8-$10 each) and not have to purchase more new mugs for $20+. Can anyone confirm this? Thank you.

Hi Jeffrey! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

In just a few weeks you will be on your way to your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I bet you are busy preparing all the final details for your rapidly approaching trip. How exciting!

At this time, there is no policy in place for reactivating previously used refillable drink mugs at a lesser price. I just spoke with a Cast Member to confirm this to make sure I was giving you the most up-to-date information. You will need to purchase a new refillable drink mug for your upcoming stay. If you are on any of the Disney dining plans, a refillable drink mug is included with the dining plan. I like to think of it as adding to my collection of Disney mugs each trip, and trust me, I've got quite the collection already! They are just so darn cute!

Enjoy your spring visit, Jeffrey! Please visit us again with any other questions you may have!
