I recently heard that there are now chargers approved on some cruise lines. Is there a charger that Disney approves for Cruises? If so which one. Thanks

Hello Cliff and thanks for sailing on over to planDisney with your question!

It looks like you are planning a Magical voyage on the high seas and I'm so happy to chat with you about Disney Cruise Line. While a piece of my heart will always belong to Cinderella Castle, there is something so special about charting a course and enjoying the journey aboard a ship... and a ship with Captain Mickey (or Captain Minnie) at the helm? Well, nothing is more full of wonder than that!

Now, Cliff, as you are planning (and packing), it's important to know what items are permissible onboard. Small chargers for things like phones, tablets, and e-readers that would be like a multiple port USB wall charger (or similar) are permitted onboard. However, extension cords, power strips, surge protectors, and multi-plugs may not be brought onto the ship. If you would need a type of extension cord or power strip for a medical reason, please visit guest services.

Cliff, please also make sure to visit THIS PAGE that shows a comprehensive list of prohibited items. I'll also direct you to THIS PAGE which gives you a comprehensive packing list to make sure you don't forget any essentials.

Wishing you fair winds and following seas. If you have any additional questions, just point that compass toward planDisney!
