Hey, Kayla! Welcome to planDisney.
Thanks so much for choosing to be our Guest. Oh, bother! I'm sorry about the mix-up with the names on the ticket. Hakuna Matata, Kayla. Believe it or not, this is fairly common.
If you would like to change the names on
Disneyland tickets, you have to call the
Tickets services phone line and speak to a Cast Member. They're able to change/update the name on your ticket. Unfortunately, this isn't something that you can do yourself through your My Disneyland account. There might be a bit of a wait on the phone, so just be prepared for that.
However, you might be interested to know that for most
theme park tickets the name on the ticket isn't very important. It's more to help
you know which ticket is assigned to which person. The important thing is for the person who first uses the ticket to remain the same throughout your visit. Here's what happens: When you enter your first theme park, a Cast Member will take a photo of each person when they first use their ticket. After that, whenever you enter a theme park, they'll use the photo to ensure it's the same person using it.
So when it comes to rectifying your mistake it's really up to you. You can call and change it, or just leave it as it is. Either way, your husband won't have a problem using it.
I hope that's helpful, Kayla. There's so much happening at the Disneyland Resort right now to celebrate
100 Years of Disney. The new nighttime spectaculars,
Wondrous Journeys at Disneyland Park, and
World of Color - ONE at Disney's California Adventure Park are the perfect way to end a Disney day. There's also the
"Magic Happens" Parade and
Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway in the newly reimagined
Mickey's Toontown. You really are going to have an enchanting time!
I hope that's helpful, Kayla. Thanks again for stopping by planDisney. Have a great trip!
Mike
