How incredibly wonderful of you! What a touching thing to do for a friend that's been through the loss of a child. First of all, please send my thoughts and love to your friend and her family at this time. As a parent, I could feel no greater loss.

I would explain that they are celebrating the memory of a lost loved one: life, love, and new memories. I would absolutely have it noted on their reservations. Disney will do every thing they can to make new, happy memories for her and her son and toss a little pixie dust their way. If it is either of their first visits, please have that noted as well.

I hope they have a magical vacation!
