Hey there, Jonathan! Welcome back to planDisney, it's great to see you again. I love that you are on a royal quest to meet as many of the amazing Disney Princesses as possible - it takes me back to the days when my daughters were in peak princess mode! Let's chat about where you might be able to find a couple of the more elusive royals at
Walt Disney World Resort.
Merida currently does not have regular, scheduled meet-and-greets. However, she is in the regular rotation of princesses who appear at
Cinderella's Royal Table in
Magic Kingdom Park. This is one of our family's favorite
Character Dining experiences for breakfast, and we try and do it every trip! Merida isn't guaranteed to appear, but the princess interactions at this meal and the setting inside the castle are truly special!
The Scottish princess does appear as part of the
Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade in the Magic Kingdom, and it's a great opportunity to get some pictures and video as she passes by. She may pop up intermittently around the Magic Kingdom and
EPCOT, so I recommend checking the
My Disney Experience app throughout your visit for the most up-to-date information.
Raya can also be hard to find! She also appears in the Adventure Friends Cavalcade, and has been spotted making occasional appearances in the Magic Kingdom (often near
Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen) and in EPCOT. Again, the app will be your best bet to try and find her during your January vacation. From the home screen, select the Map, filter by park, and then select "Characters". You can select "Show List" to see the full array of Characters that are in a particular park on that date.
Jonathan, I'll be wishing on the Evening Star that you're able to get some face time with Merida and Raya when you visit The Most Magical Place on Earth! Be sure to have those autograph books packed, and please come back and see us again anytime at planDisney if we can help with additional questions.
See Ya Real Soon!
Susan
