My DS4 was recently diagnosed with a treenut allergy. I have noted this on our dining reservations but wondering if I need a doctor's note to carry an epipen around in the parks. Thanks for your help!!

Hi Lea! You won't need to bring a doctor's note. However, I would strongly recommend bringing your son's Epi-Pen. I always carry one in my purse for my child in case of any unforseen emergencies. Rest assured your son will be able to enjoy many dining options at the Walt Disney World Resort. You might want to consider contacting Special Diets at www.SpecialDiets@DisneyWorld.com. They will send you a Guest Allergy/Dietary Request Form. Be sure to include all Advanced Dining Reservations confirmation numbers, locations, dates, and times. Email the completed form back to them. Once you are on property you'll find that many times the chef on duty will talk to you personally about the meal option available at the restaurant. In order to make informed decisions at counter service locations, please request the "ingredients list book." You may certainly talk to the manager about your son's tree-nut allergy and you will be directed to suitable items that are safe for him to consume. Please let me know if I may be able to answer any other questions for you. Have a memorable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
