Hi, Ashley! Welcome to planDisney! A trip to Walt Disney World with Mom sounds like a lot of fun! I'm a big fan of spending time in my favorite place with my favorite people.
I'm so sorry you've been having trouble adding a
Disney Park Pass reservation for her. I just took a peek at the date you plan to visit
Disney's Hollywood Studios, and it does look like it's reached capacity. I don't think adding your mom to your
My Disney Experience account would enable you to add her to your existing Disney Park Pass reservation. We had an issue once where my husband and son had a reservation for EPCOT one day, but mine got lost in the system somehow. Even though we're all on the same account, I wasn't able to add myself to the reservation initially. As I kept trying, though, a spot opened up and I got in. You can certainly keep checking back and try to grab a reservation for your mom if there's an opening.
Another strategy you could try is to start your day at a different Theme Park and hop to Disney's Hollywood Studios later in the day. You'd just need to add the
Park Hopper Option to your tickets and make your Disney Park Pass reservations for a Park that does have availability on June 25 (as I write this, all of the other Parks are available). On your Park day, you would have to go to the Park where you have a reservation first, and then you can hop to a subsequent Park after 2 p.m. Just be aware that if you were hoping to get a
boarding group for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, they're distributed at 7 a.m. and 1 p.m., so hopping there after 2 would throw a light saber in that plan.
Ashley, if you can rearrange your plans at all, there are still
Disney Park Pass reservations available at Disney's Hollywood Studios for June 26, 27, 29 and 30. That might be your best bet to visit planet Batuu and all the other residents of Hollywoodland!
I hope this helps you make a plan that works for your family, Ashley. Fingers crossed you can get your mom added to the fun! And please come back and see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
