I recently bought tickets for 5 days, but it's for a single park per day. Is there any way I can upgrade to a park hopper? Do you think I need a park hopper or would one park per day be enough since I'm probably not visiting until after lunch time?

    Hello, Amber!

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  We are so excited to help you plan for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!

I am very happy to inform you that you CAN upgrade your Disney Theme Park Base Ticket to the Park Hopper Option.   All you have to do is go to Guest Relations located right outside the entrance of each of the Disney Theme Parks and pay the difference to upgrade your tickets to the Park Hopper Option.  It is VERY easy to do!

To be honest, the Park Hopper Option is really a matter of preference.  For my family, we never upgrade our base tickets to the Park Hopper Option because of the time it takes to travel between the Disney Theme Parks. I would rather spend that time enjoying one park than wasting time going from park to park.  If you are only going to be able to arrive at the Disney Theme Parks until lunch, I would definitely think twice about upgrading your tickets. Another reason is that the price difference is not worth the investment for my family.  (NOTE: I have seven total people in my family, so the money we save is significant for us.)

The reasons why I would consider upgrading your tickets to the Park Hopper Option would be that you are by yourself (or traveling with adults), and you do not come to Walt Disney World very often.

If you have other questions, please let me know!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
