Hello Philip,
Thanks for stopping in to see us at planDisney, and thanks for your great question!
When you recently purchased your theme park tickets online using the
Theme Park Tickets & Reservations tools, you might have noticed that the tools offer two main choices to help Guests plan their theme park fun. One option is for Guests to "purchase a ticket and make a park reservation." The second option is for Guests to make a park reservation if they have already previously purchased their theme park tickets.
The first option for Guests to purchase their new theme park tickets and make their theme park reservations together is the result of a new enhancement introduced in May. Thanks to that enhancement, Guests can enjoy the convenience of
selecting their theme park tickets and making their theme park reservations at the same time.
The way I would describe it, it's not that theme park tickets automatically come with theme park reservations, it's more that the system lets you take care of both buying tickets and making reservations in the same set of steps.
My suggestion is to take a look at your
My Theme Park Reservations page where you should see the theme park reservations you made when you purchased your theme park tickets. If you're not seeing your theme park reservations displayed as expected, and you're still encountering the message about reservations, you could
contact the Disneyland Resort Ticket Services team at (714) 781-4636 for additional assistance. You can also chat with Cast Members using the "Chat with Us" feature in the
Disneyland Resort mobile app.
Philip, here's wishing you a wonderful visit to the Disneyland Resort!
Jerry
