    We have recently bought new annual passes. We had them previously (5 years ago). My question is will we get new bands or are we expected to use the old ones? (I have NO idea where they areand with 2 toddlers and an infant they are lifesavers!!)

    Hi Kaala,

    Welcome back to the Florida resident passholder family! I just renewed my family's passes and we received our new passholder MagicBands in the mail last week. Make sure you have linked your new passes to your My Disney Experience account. You can sign in there and customize your MagicBands in the MagicBands and Cards section.

    I like to include the last two digits of the year in the name I add to the MagicBands so that I know which are the most recent. (We have quite a collection.)

    When you arrive at Walt Disney World to use your new passes for the first time, you'll need to stop by a ticket window or Guest Relations location to show proof of Florida residency and activate your passes. It will take just a few minutes. Your pass will expire one year from the date of first use.
