Hi Monique! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
I'm thrilled that you were able to purchase
Magic Keys for yourself and your daughter. You're about to experience a year of more access to the magic, great
discounts, and fun perks. I just got back from the parks, where I made particularly good use of my dining and merchandise discounts. Those discounts have real value for my family! It's one of the reasons I'll be renewing my Magic Key very soon.
Mistakes do happen! Especially when we're excited and rushing, which is an understandable state after waiting in the online queue to purchase those long-awaited Magic Keys. The good news is Inspire Keys are still available for sale. As long as it is available, you can
upgrade your daughter's Believe Key to an Inspire Key for the remainder of the year of access. You'll have to pay the difference, and prices and terms are subject to change. Unfortunately, this upgrade can only be done in person. You'll need to visit the main ticket booths in the Esplanade between the parks and have your preferred method of payment with you. According to the current terms, you must pay in full at the time of your transaction.
I'm sorry if that seems like a bit of a hassle, but at least you can solve the goof and both have the same perks and
Blockout dates. I encourage you to take care of this as soon as possible: The availability of Magic Keys is not guaranteed, and as they are popular, they could sell out. I'd also suggest you follow the official
Disneyland Magic Key blog, which is a great resource for Magic Key holders. It's how I found out about a cute complimentary magnet that was available on my recent visit. There's always something new to explore in the parks, and the blog keeps me up to date on what I can expect as a Magic Key holder.
Have a magical day!
Elizabeth
