Kiara from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I recently bought a Magic Key Pass (just me), but myself and a +1 already bought General Admission tickets prior to the annual pass purchase. Is there anyway to get credit back for my portion of the GA since I have a Magic Key Pass now?

Hey there and welcome to planDisney, Kiara. Thanks for bringing this question our way. I'm so excited to hear that you recently became a Magic Key holder. Get ready for an extra magical year!

I love being a Magic Key holder and having the flexibility to drop into the parks (with a valid theme park reservation) when I need a little dose of magic. Did you know there's a portal for Magic Key holders in the Disneyland app? I always check the portal for any exclusive Magic Key holder offerings before my park visits.

Unfortunately, any theme park tickets that you wish to upgrade and put towards the payment of your Magic Key pass must be done at the time of purchase. Once your purchase has been completed, a credit sadly cannot be issued. However, not all is lost. You can still use your theme park ticket at another time, like on a Magic Key blockout date. I've definitely purchased a ticket to enter the parks on a blockout day when there was something special happening that I really wanted to attend.

Kiara, I'm sorry this is probably not the answer you were hoping for. However, I hope the information is helpful and that you will find a fantastic way to use your theme park ticket. Here's wishing you a year filled with magical visits to the Happiest Place on Earth!
