Hiya, Antonio! Welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for sharing your question with us. There are so many magical moments during a Walt Disney World vacation, and I can certainly understand why you’d want to capture each one. Let’s take a look at the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, which can be found
here, and see what applies to your situation.
There are a couple of camera-related items on the list of prohibited items. Selfie sticks and hand-held extension poles for cameras, as well as tripods or monopod stands that do not fit inside a standard backpack or extend beyond 6 feet, are not allowed in any theme park or water park. Based on your description, it sounds like your camera and mount don’t match these items and would be allowed.
It’s important to remember, though, that Walt Disney World reserves the right to prohibit the use or storage of any item not included on the prohibited items list if they determine it may be harmful or disruptive. If you still have any concerns about your specific camera and mount, or additional questions about the property rules, you can call the
Non-Reservation Support line to speak with a helpful Cast Member.
If you’re looking for more ways to remember your vacation, you may want to look into
Memory Maker, Disney PhotoPass Service’s all-inclusive photo package. There’s also
Capture Your Moment private photo sessions available at each theme park, which are a great way to commemorate a special trip or milestone.
I hope this info his helpful, Antonio. Don’t hesitate to come back to planDisney if you have more vacation planning questions. We’re always happy to help!
Magical travels!
