I recently bought a 5-day Park hopper (plus reservations) that I plan to use when I visit Disneyland this October. Will I be able to apply this 5-day Park Hopper to a Believe Key once I get there in October? What are the logistics with that?

    HI Lisa,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for sending us your question about upgrading your Theme Park Tickets to the Magic Key Pass!  I was so excited to see this new program, it really gives guests the most magic for their time at Disneyland Resort.

While we are still waiting for this new program to begin on August 25, it looks like you may be eligible to upgrade your 5 day Park-Hopper Theme Park Tickets to a Magic Key Pass when the time comes.  Theme Park Tickets need to be fully unused and cannot be the California resident promotional ticket, so your Theme Park Tickets should qualify.  Guests will be able to purchase their Magic Key Passes online or using the Disneyland Mobile App.  While we don't know what the process will be to upgrade just yet, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as well as the official Disneyland Resort Website on August 25 for more details on how to purchase your Magic Key Pass.  In the past, guests were able to upgrade at any guest-relations location or at a Disneyland Main Entrance Ticket Booth, so I would expect the process to be similar with the new Disneyland Resort Magic Key Program as well.

Once you upgrade your Theme Park Tickets, you will be able to take advantage of the incredible perks that come with the Disneyland Resort Magic Key Program, including savings on dining and merchandise, making multiple Theme Park Reservations and much more!

I hope this information was useful, Lisa.  If you have any other questions, please come back to planDisney again, we are always happy to help.
