So wonderful to hear from a fellow Annual Passholder! I renewed my Annual Pass a few weeks before the Walt Disney World Resort shut down due to COVID-19 and hadn't ordered my Passholder MagicBand. When I attempt to order it, I saw the message posted on the
My Disney Experience site, specifically the
MagicBand ordering page, which stated: "While the Walt Disney World theme parks and Resort hotels are temporarily closed, we are not currently accepting new MagicBand orders linked to Walt Disney World Annual Passholders or Disney Resort hotel reservations. Please continue to check this page for additional updates. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience during this time."
Based on this information, I would think that once the parks and resorts re-open, we will be able to order the MagicBands. Mind you that this is my opinion and we still have to wait for official confirmation. As mentioned before, the best recommendation would be to periodically check the MagicBand ordering page for additional updates. Hope this helps!
