I recently booked a vacation with the free dining package. I then extended my trip by 1 day, but could not get the free dining plan, just a room and park ticket extension. Can I still use the free dining if I have unused credits on my last day?

Hi Christian, and thank you for bringing this most delicious question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

The Disney Dining Plan is a great option for Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests looking for a convenient and hassle-free vacation. With everything pre-paid in advance, there is no need to worry about meal budgets or calculating menu prices. Hakuna Matata!

Christian, I am happy to confirm that you will indeed be able to continue using an unexpired meal or snack credits up until midnight on your day of check-out on your first reservation. All of the meal and snack credits for each person for the entire duration of your stay will be available for use starting at the time of check-in, and will not expire until midnight on your day of check out, even if you have already checked in for another Resort hotel reservation.

I hope this information is helpful as you continue with your trip planning. Should you have any other questions about the Disney Dining Plan, or anything else, please be sure to let us know. We are here to help!

    Bon Appétit!
