I recently booked a trip for Spring Break 2016. I am debating about whether or not I should add a dining package. I want to do character dining, but don't know if it will be worth it as my stepson is a SUPER PICKY EATER, and my 4 year old is, too. Help!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am also planning my 2016 spring break trip, but I am bringing five teenage boys who are NOT picky eaters!  We will be doing the Disney Dining Plan on our trip, and I actually think you would like it, as well.

The character dining experiences are the best dinners (in my opinion) for children who are picky eaters.   Obviously, having characters at the meals make them popular choices for families with children, and Disney knows that lots and lots of children are picky eaters.  They have plenty of options for those kids!   Most restaurants at Disney World have selections for picky eaters.  Don't ever hesitate to ask about something when you're there.

If you know that you will do some character dining, then I think that the Dining Plan is a great deal.  It will save you some money in the long run.

However, the thing that I like best about doing the plan is that I pay for it in advance.  I know it's a mental thing, but not having to constantly shell out large sums of money for food makes my vacation a little more magical!  Having it all paid for in advance is great!

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
