Hi! We recently booked a stay a the Caribbean beach resort. I wanted to know which building in Jamaica is closest to the bus stop and Skyliner. Also we’d like to know a Jamaica building that is not too far from Old Port Royale. Thanks!

Ahoy there Nancy! Welcome back to planDisney. Thanks for bringing another great planning question to us.

You and your crew are in for a swashbuckling good time at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. From the water slides at the feature pool to the tasty libations at Banana Cabana, there is something for pirates of all ages. The resort's location along the Disney Skyliner makes it an especially convenient spot to stay when visiting EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios

Nancy, Jamaica is a great "village" to call home if proximity to transportation and amenities are your top priorities. You will be centrally located between the Disney Skyliner station, dining, and the Fuentes del Morro Pool. Buildings 44, 45, and 46 are closest to the footbridge that leads from Jamaica to Old Port Royale, and are also just a short stroll from the Disney Skyliner. Because each village has its own bus stop, you'll only be a few steps away from transportation to the Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and Disney Springs.

Be sure to make your location preferences known when you complete online check-in, but keep in mind that requests are not guaranteed. Fortunately, every section of Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort has plenty of positives to keep your scalawags happy all vacation long. Martinque is closest to Old Port Royale. Barbados, like Jamaica, is close to dining and the Disney Skyliner station. Trinidad is the most serene of all the villages and is home to the Spyglass Grill, a lovely waterside eatery. Some of the buildings in Aruba are so close to Disney's Riviera Resort, that you'll easily be able to stop by and check out the shopping and dining at Disney's newest resort. No matter which island village you end up in, you're sure to discover some treasure.

I hope this has been helpful as your Disney adventure approaches. If there is anything else we can do to ensure smooth sailing during your stay, please come back and see us again.

    See ya real soon!
