    I recently booked a Marvel at Day Sea cruise for 2020. My question is to meet the Marvel characters is that a ticketed event or do you simply line up to meet them. I went on a cruise prior and the to meet the Disney princesses I had to obtain tickets while

    Hi Keisha!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  What an adventure you have planned for next year!  You are going to have the most MARVELous time at sea with Captain Mickey and all the superheroes!  I hope you’ve already downloaded the Navigator app and set your Cruise Countdown clock so you can watch the days pass by.  You will also definitely want to have that app onboard to access a lot of information including activities and entertainment schedules, menus and much more!

    My family went on the Inaugural Marvel Day at Sea sailing and it was SO MUCH FUN!!  I will admit that I was not well versed in all the superheroes as my boys were still fairly young on that voyage, but at the end of the week I knew everything I wanted to know about superheroes and more!  Now that my boys are older, they love that their mama can play alongside them while they battle it out as their favorite superhero!  During your voyage there will be character meet and greet opportunities that are ticketed events but there will also likely be opportunities for you to meet some of the Marvel characters during regular character appearance times around the ship.  The complimentary tickets for the ticketed events will be available once your Online Check-In and onboard booking window opens.  You will find additional character appearance times on the schedule of events which can be found on the Navigator app once onboard.  But, I always recommend…have your phone with you – and accessible when roaming the ship as you never know when you might have an encounter with a character and you won’t want to miss that photo op!
