I recently booked my families first trip to Disney World. I booked so we got the free dining offer and also purchased a dining package. Will both just show up or do I need to do something to take advantage of the free dining offer?

    Hi Rochelle,

Your family’s first Walt Disney World Resort vacation. How exciting!

Disney Dining Plans are an excellent option to add to a Magic Your Way Vacation Package. My family loves the Disney Dining Plan since it gives us the right balance of Snacks, Quick-Service and Table-Service meals. This plan gives you one of each per night per person, in addition to a Rapid Fill Resort refillable drink mug, valid for your entire stay.

In the past Disney has offered Free Dining at certain times. Keep an eye to the Special Offers & Deals page to see if an offer comes out. If you book a qualifying package, you could get one of the Disney Dining Plans free of charge by simply adding the promotion to your reservation. Note that there are blackout dates, restrictions on resort hotels and subject to availability. You may need to adjust your arrival date or select a different resort. Simply call a vacation planning specialist at (407) 939-1936 or your travel agent.

You can make advanced dining reservations up to 180 days in advance. Simply go to the Restaurants and Reservations page or call (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. And if you haven’t yet, make sure you sign up for My Disney Experience, which will become your central hub to keep track of all your reservations.
