Hello! I have recently booked a 5 day park-hopper vacation for 4 people. My question is - knowing that my parents may not want to go all 5 days, and decide to go for only 2, will I still be able to use their remaining 3 days at a different date?

Hey there Gloria! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your ticket question and I am here to help.

It sounds like you are off to a great start for your Disneyland Resort vacation next year. I understand your worry that your parents may not end up wanting to be in the parks every day. Once a Park Hopper ticket is activated it needs to be used in full within 14 days. After that, the ticket will expire and can no longer be used. I also must add that once a ticket is activated at the gates, it is attached to the person who activated it with a picture taken by a Cast Member. Tickets cannot be shared or used by more than one person.

If you booked a Disneyland Resort Hotel Package through the website or by phone, you may be able to adjust or change your package to accommodate a different ticket option. You can reach out to Vacation Package services to inquire.

As you get closer to your arrival date, I suggest checking Disney Parks Blog to see what exciting announcements may have been released that may pertain to your time in the parks. The Entertainment Schedule will also let you know what performances will be taking place that day, as well as the times.

Gloria, thanks again for dropping by planDisney. We hope you'll stop by and visit us again with any future questions you have about your upcoming trip to The Happiest Place on Earth.
