I recently booked a couple’s choice spa package for 8am but saw online that the Oceaneer Club may not open until 9am for my two-year-old. Is that correct and should I schedule the treatment for a later time?

    Welcome to planDisney Dana!

Oooh! A massage at the Senses Spa & Salon sounds amazing. You will be pampered and so relaxed after your treatment. Check out the Rainforest while you are there. You might want to purchase a day-pass for even more relaxation.

Youth Clubs typically open at 9 am. However, you mentioned that your little one is 2 years old. The Youth Clubs are for children 3 and older. But, no worries, even the littlest sailors have a place to go! You will want to look into "it's a small world" nursery! This location is for little ones who are 6 months - 3 years. Please note there is a charge for using the nursery and reservations are required.

Let's circle back to your original question! I would change the time of your spa appointment until after 9am to reflect "it's a small world" nursery! hours. Then, make the reservation for your child so everything is coordinated and ready to go. You may want a cushion of time to allow time to drop off your little one and to get to the spa.

Enjoy some grown-up time during your Disney Cruise!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
