Hello there, Dennis. Thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question.
First of all, congratulations on joining the Passholder family, Dennis! I've been a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder for years now and I absolutely love it and can't imagine not having it now. I've made so many magical memories that will last a lifetime, it was such a good decision. I am excited for you all!
To visit any of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks using your
Walt Disney World Annual Pass, you'll also need to have a park pass reservation for the initial theme park you'd like to visit each day.
Park pass reservations are like a virtual placeholder in line for you at that particular theme park since they are still operating at a limited capacity at this time. Depending on the level of Annual Pass that you have, you'll receive a certain number of park pass reservations to hold. I have the Disney Incredi-Pass so I am able to make and hold up to 5 park pass reservations at a time without a Walt Disney World Resort Stay. It works on a rolling system. If I have all 5 park pass reservations secured and then I use one, I am able to immediately make another one if I would like.
Do you have the
MyDisneyExperience app, Dennis? If not, I highly suggest you download it. It is my preferred method when making park pass reservations because it is so user-friendly. Once you have the app go ahead and open it up and log in to your MyDisneyExperience account if prompted. Then, you'll click on the plus sign icon with the circle around it. This is going to open up a navigational menu. From there, you'll select the option to "Make a Park Reservation". You'll see the option to make a park pass reservation using your Annual Pass and you'll want to click on that option. After that, you'll choose your travel party, a date on a calendar and then the Walt Disney World Theme Park you'd like to visit. If all goes well, you'll be taken to a confirmation page and have the option to select another park pass reservation for a different day. You can repeat these steps until you have used up your allotted park pass reservation number.
I hope this helps, Dennis. If you have any other questions about your new Walt Disney World Annual Pass, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Have fun and enjoy!
