Hey there, Rodrigo! Welcome to planDisney! I’m practically bursting with joy over here to hear that you've become a
Magic Key holder! You and your family have just unlocked a year filled with pixie-dusted adventures and memories that will last longer than happily ever after!
It sounds like you were the one who purchased the Magic Key passes, making you the ultimate Disney planning hero! I totally understand—I'm the designated magic-maker in my household too. The first time my spouse and I were at
Disney California Adventure Park as official Magic Key holders, we noticed that our dining discounts weren't appearing in the
Disneyland mobile app on his phone when we used the mobile food and beverage ordering feature. So, by enlisting the help of Chip 'n' Dale and their expert sleuthing skills, we realized we needed to visit Guest Services to transfer his pass to his account.
Luckily, just like our experience, you'll find that transferring a Magic Key pass to your wife’s Disney account is as easy as wishing upon a star! It's a simple process and should only take a few minutes. Now that you’re a passholder, Rodrigo, you have access to a
special hotline just for Magic Key Holders—think of it as your own personal Fairy Godmother phone number! Just give this number a call, and a friendly Cast Member will be happy to help you get everything squared away.
Since we happened to already be at the Disneyland Resort when we realized that we needed to transfer my spouse’s pass to his account, we visited a Guest Services window located in the esplanade between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. This is a great option if you’d prefer to get assistance in person. With a wave of her magic wand, the helpful Cast Member had the pass transferred, and we were able to hop back over to Disneyland to enjoy the rest of our magical day.
That’s one of the best parts, Rodrigo—your Magic Key pass includes the Park Hopper option, which means you can switch parks beginning at 11 AM. You can start your day with an exhilarating ride on Space Mountain at Disneyland Park before heading over to Disney California Adventure Park for lunch.
And, speaking of lunch, your Magic Key pass also unlocks a new dining option! You can enjoy a delicious meal at
Magic Key Terrace. I love taking a break in the restaurant’s calm atmosphere to enjoy lunch or a few sips of the Heimlich Chew Chew Juice, my favorite! It’s a tasty non-alcoholic drink made with lemonade and flavors of apple and watermelon—highly recommended! Magic Key Terrace overlooks
San Fransokyo Square, so it’s an extra treat when you’re seated over by the open-air windows.
I hope you’ll enjoy being a Magic Key holder just as much as I do, Rodrigo! You’ll love the extra perks that come along with it—from dining, merchandise, parking, and
Lightning Lane Multi Pass discounts, to all of the special experiences that you’ll get the opportunity to enjoy throughout the year!
If you have any other questions as you begin your year of Magic Key adventures, Rodrigo, don’t hesitate to dash on over to planDisney again. We’ll be happy to help!
