Hello Melissa,
As the
current UK Panelist here at planDisney, your wonderful question about the delicious
Bubble and Squeak side order found on the Menu at The Rose & Crown Dining Room at
EPCOT simply jumped right out at me!
Melissa on your behalf, I've undertaken quite a bit of online research, and for the life of me, I could not find an exact recipe for the Bubble and Squeak at
Rose & Crown Dining Room.
However, what I did find on Amazon was a Walt Disney World Resort cookery book entitled "
Delicious Disney: Walt Disney World: Recipes & Stories from The Most Magical Place on Earth" that is due to be released next year.
Whilst I'm not sure if this beautiful-looking Disney Press publication will include the exact recipe you're looking for, it is all set to contain a plethora of recipes from the past, present, and future of
Walt Disney World Resort as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations.I understand this is not the news you were hoping to hear. But, I am happy to share that here in the United Kingdom, we Brits traditionally make our Bubble and Squeak from the leftovers of a Sunday roast dinner.
Therefore our Bubble and Squeak usually contains a random mixture of crushed roast potatoes, combined with cooked shredded cabbage, Brussel sprouts, mashed swede, chopped carrots, or any other pre-cooked vegetables, seasoned, and then all fried together in a well-buttered skillet.
Melissa, I sincerely hope that I've been able to provide you with a little pixie-dusted insight today. If you should have any further questions concerning an upcoming vacation to the most magical place on earth, then please do pop back to me here at planDisney.
Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
