Hi Heather! Thanks for coming back to planDisney! I can understand why you’re asking about Disney After Hours! They are great events! Guests really enjoy the lower crowds, shorter waits for attractions, and the complimentary snacks and beverages that come with your admission. My favorite part of the event is being in the parks late at night! There is such a unique energy in the parks at night!

At present, there are no Disney After Hours events scheduled in any of the Disney Parks for December 2024. The final Disney After Hours, currently scheduled for 2024, is on August 29, 2024 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. At this time there are no additional Disney After Hours events planned for after August 2024.

My fellow planDisney panelist, Louise, shared some similar events in an answer to a question you sent previously. The most similar event to Disney After Hours in December is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! This special nighttime event is held on select nights in Magic Kingdom Park. The park closes to day Guests. Only Guests with tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party can remain in the park. The event is held from 7:00 PM to midnight, but ticketholders can enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00 PM! That is a great perk! Tickets for this merry event are on sale now!

Heather, I’ve been to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and I highly recommend going! There is holiday-themed entertainment including Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and Minnie’s Wonderful Christmas Fireworks Show! There are unique character meet-and-greet opportunities and even cookies and beverages included with the price of your admission! Nobody throws a Christmas party like Mickey!
