Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Christina. It sounds like you have such a fun trip planned to the
Most Magical Place On Earth this spring. It'll be here before you know it. I bet you are getting so excited!
Christina both of the
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels that you have chosen to stay at are incredible. You are going to have such an amazing time. I just stayed at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge a little over a month ago and it was 10 out of 10! Because a split stay is two separate resort reservations, you'll also need to split up your advance dining reservations. You'll be able to make them 60 days prior to your check-in day for the length of your stay at
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and then again 60 days prior to checking in to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.
You can make
advanced dining reservations starting at 6:00 a.m. online via your MyDisneyExperience account or over the phone starting at 7:00 a.m. by calling 407-WDW-DINE. I do suggest setting that alarm clock from bright and early because some of the best spots do tend to fill up quickly. The good news about your stay is that you have 2 chances to secure some of your must-try spots which I think will come in handy if you have some of the more popular places picked out. I like to have my planning notebook laid out right beside my bed that way when my alarm goes off I can log in to my MyDisneyExperience account via the mobile app and be ready to go right before 6:00 a.m.
Christina, if you are looking for any dining recommendations I have so many favorites. Right now, my current go-to spot is
The BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs. It's set right on the lake and provides stunning views as the sun goes down. There's something on the menu for everyone but I always order the lobster roll served warm with butter and upgrade to the truffle fries. My mouth is watering right now just typing that out. In fact, I planned a last-minute weekend trip once around a reservation I was able to snag there. It's that good!
I hope this helps you plan out when you'll need to book those dining reservations, Christina. If you have any other questions along the way, stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help.
Enjoy!
