On a recent trip, we had a dining plan than included dessert with every meal. Since one of the members of my party is diabetic, is it possible ever to substitute an appetizer for the dessert?

    Hi Renee!

One of the many things I love about Walt Disney World is how accommodating they are with special diets.  When you arrive at your dining location, simply advise the Cast Member of your medical condition and the Cast Member will assist you with your request.  In the past, we have been able to substitute an appetizer for a dessert, because of medical issues, but please be aware that this option is always subject to change.  I would recommend contacting Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com at least 14 days prior to your arrival and after your Advanced Dining Reservations are booked.  They will be able to assist with your planning and help make sure your vacation is as seamless as possible.

    Have a magical day!
