Hello and welcome to planDisney, Beth.
I've been a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder for years now, Beth, and I can honestly say it is well worth the investment. The news about the sale of new annual passes resuming is so exciting! I know a lot of people have been waiting quite a while for its release.
A Walt Disney World Annual Pass is theme park admission, Beth, so you don't have to pay above and beyond the purchase price to enter the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Now, there are different tiers of passes. With those tiers, you get access to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks on different days.
Here's a breakdown of the
new Walt Disney World Annual Passes:
- Disney Pixie Dust Pass - includes admission on most weekdays, has blockout dates, hold 3 park pass reservations at a time and is only open to Florida residents
- Disney Pirate Pass - includes admission on most days but is subject to blockout dates on holidays and peak weekends, hold up to 4 park pass reservations at a time and is only available to Florida residents
- Disney Sorcerer Pass - includes admission on most days but has blockout dates on holidays, hold up to 5 park pass reservations at a time and is only available to Florida residents
- Disney Incredi-Pass - includes admission any day of the year, hold up to 5 park pass reservations at a time and is open to all Guests for purchase
If you do not live in the state of Florida, Beth, the only annual pass that is available for you to purchase starting September 8th is the Disney Incredi-Pass. This is the pass that I have and love it. I am excited about the upgrade to the number of park pass reservations that I can hold, 5 is a great number. On top of theme park admission, annual passholder receive complimentary theme park parking and discounts on food, merchandise and select resort stays throughout the year.
I hope this helps clear up any confusion you may have had about the Annual Pass program, Beth. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. Have a great day!
