Hello Debra, welcome to
planDisney!
Thanks for bringing your question here today, I’m always happy to chat about the
Disney Vacation Club! Twelve years ago, I went on a DVC tour and ended up being a Member that same day. My family has used our Membership for hotel stays at
Walt Disney World Resort,
Disneyland Resort, as well as the Beach and Island Resorts; we have so many core memories that incorporate the Disney Vacation Club!
I chatted with
Member Services and they shared that Disney Vacation Club tours are ongoing but the incentive could change at any time. Even though you will not be staying at a Disney Vacation Club Resort, you are more than welcome to participate in a Disney Vacation Club tour where you can learn a bit more about the Disney Vacation Club. To participate in a tour, you can visit any DVC kiosk in a theme park, Disney Springs or at a resort. The DVC representative will assist with registering for a tour and will let you know where you need to go.
Did you know that a Disney Vacation Club Membership offers many
benefits and discounts to Members? Eligible Members can receive discounts at restaurants, on dining, special event tickets and more!
Debra, I encourage you to take a DVC tour and learn about the Disney Vacation Club. You can ask to tour a
Villa to get an idea of how it would fit your family and get a feel of what a home away from home feels like. If you have any other DVC or vacation planning questions, please
let me know!
Enjoy making magical memories,
Candace
