Hey there! Hi there, Christine! It sounds like you are in the middle of the magic, having a less-than-magical moment. Let's see what we can do quickly to get you back in that Pixie Dust feeling.
If you have a previous MagicBand or
MagicBand+, it should still be linked to your account. You can deactivate them (which I recommend if you have many old ones) and report them as lost, but they should still be on your account. You can see all of your MagicBands and linked Keys to the World cards on the
My Disney Experience app.
Open the main menu (the "≡" at the bottom of the screen). Scroll to "Account" and select "MagicBands & Cards." On the "Your MagicBands and More" screen, select your profile. The next screen opens with MagicBand+ and images of your bands. If your older band is a MagicBand, select that tab at the top of the screen. Scroll through the carousel to select the band and view its details. Look for "Activated" in bold, and if it says "Ready to Use," you should be good to go.
If you need to connect a MagicBand, you click "Link Your MagicBand or Card" on the "Your MagicBands and More" screen.
As a backup, you can also create a
Disney MagicMobile pass and use your cellphone. From that same "Account" section on the main menu, select "Set Up MagicMobile Entry." With a few clicks, you can add a pass to your phone's digital wallet. This pass allows you to access your tickets at the gate and any
Lightning Lane entries you may have purchased.
Christine, I hope this helps and that it won't be long before you can put your worries behind you. I'm sure you are ready to sing "Hakuna Matata!" It's a wonderful phrase!
