With the recent changes to the Be Our Guest restaurant is it considered quick service or table service under the DDP? Also, does the Beast make an appearance? I'm not sure how my daughter would react. Thanks so much!

Jennifer, welcome to the Disney Parks Moms panel. Thank you so much for coming here with your question. I love Be Our Guest Restaurant and I am so happy to help!

Be Our Guest Restaurant is a unique Walt Disney World restaurant. For lunch it is a Quick-Service restaurant and at Dinner it is a Table-Service restaurant. There is also a Be our Guest Restaurant breakfast service that is currently being tested through June 18th, which is also a Quick-Service meal. Currently you can make Advanced Dining Reservations for all three of these meals - even the Quick-Service Breakfast and Lunch.

The Beast is currently only available during the Dinner hour. He greets guests in the Library and does walk through the restaurant on his way to and from this area. When I met him, I could not get over how very, very big he is! I loved meeting him, as Beauty and the Beast is one of my childhood favorites. I can see how he may frighten your daughter, however you do not have to 'meet' him if she chooses not to.

Wishing you and your family a magical vacation, Jennifer!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
