Hey Amy!
A warm welcome to planDisney. I am so excited to answer a
Walt Disney World Resort annual pass question for a fellow Floridian!
Amy, if you have a regular Walt Disney World Resort theme park admission ticket that remains fully unused and is not expired or has been used but you are upgrading on the same day of use, you may be eligible to
upgrade the theme park ticket to one of the new Walt Disney World Resort annual passes.
Multi-day theme park tickets (such as the one you have) do not need to be upgraded on the first day of use. You can upgrade your eligible multi-day theme park ticket to a
Walt Disney World Resort annual pass on any day up until the ticket has been fully used or until it expires.
Additionally, as a Florida Resident upgrading from an eligible theme park ticket to a Walt Disney World Resort annual pass, you may choose to pay your annual pass via the monthly payment option (exclusive to Florida Residents). You must make this choice within 14 days of the first use of your eligible annual pass.
I hope I have helped answer your question, Amy. If you have any other questions, please visit us again. We are hEAR to help you!
Wishing you a Pixie-Dusted Visit,
Priscila
