    Are you receiving reservations at the resorts for 2021?

    Hi Laura,

    Welcome to planDisney! 

    I am happy to report that you can currently reserve a vacation package or resort hotel through the end of 2021. We always start with a few dates in mind and then I check the Special Offers to see if there are any discounts for the dates we would like to visit. If you are not familiar with the different resort hotel categories, I also suggest checking out the differences between value resorts, moderate resorts, deluxe and deluxe villa resorts. 

    Know also that some Walt Disney World Resort hotels are on a phased reopening plan. Check the resort hotel updates for more information. Also pay attention to the details related to resort hotels and dining experiences because although a resort hotel might be open, all of its dining options may not be open at the time of your visit.

    My family loves deluxe and deluxe villa resorts because of the array of amenities they offer. We prefer resorts with multiple transportation options, so, as you make your selections, consider resort hotels with access to Walt Disney World® Monorail Transportation or those with access to the Disney Skyliner. Keep in mind that Disney's Contemporary Resort Hotel and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa have monorail access and walking paths to Magic Kingdom.

    Guests staying at resort hotels on Disney's BoardWalk, including Disney's BoardWalk Inn, Disney's BoardWalk Villas, Disney's Yacht Club Resort, Disney's Beach Club Resort, and Disney's Beach Club Villas can walk to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios. We also love staying in this area because we can walk to lots of different dining options and the atmosphere on Disney's BoardWalk is lovely. Disney Skyliner transportation is accessible from these resort hotels. When we last stayed at Disney's BoardWalk Villas, we took the Disney Skyliner to Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera at Disney's Riviera Resort one morning. It was a quick ride and the characters at breakfast were so much fun!
