Hey there, hi there, Sandra!
Welcome to planDisney and we certainly appreciate you coming to us with your question! I'm sorry to hear that your cousin and his son may have to postpone their trip to the Disneyland Resort. We'll keep them in our thoughts and hope that they make a speedy recovery!
Thankfully, Disneyland Resort
Theme Park Tickets are very flexible and they also have long shelf lives before expiration. The names on the tickets will not be a factor as they do not check ID at the gates prior to entry. It's more for you to keep track of the individual ticket in your
Disneyland account. However, the Cast Members will take your photo the first time the ticket is used to make sure the same person is using that particular ticket for future entries. If you would still like to change the name on the ticket, please call
Ticket Guest Services and a Cast Member will be able to help you.
If you would like to change the actual reservation date, log in to your Disneyland account and navigate to the
Tickets and Reservations page. Click on "Make or Modify Park Reservations" and select the date that you would like to reschedule. Disney just implemented a change in their system so you no longer have to cancel your reservations before rescheduling!
Sandra, I certainly hope that your family will be able to visit the Disneyland Resort together as planned. I would recommend making it a point to experience
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway as it is the newest attraction there and it's a wonderful ride for the entire family! The summer season will have started as well, so think about adding
Genie+ to your tickets to avoid waiting in standby queues.
I hope that was helpful for you, Sandra, and thanks again for stopping by. If there is anything else that we can help with, please feel free to reach out to us again anytime!
Have a Magical Day!
