Hi, Marilen!
Welcome to
planDisney. It sounds like you’re just as excited as I am that the
Disneyland Resort theme parks are on track to open soon! I sure have missed visiting the Happiest Place on Earth this past year.
Some theme park ticket expiration dates have been extended. Unused non-promotional single-day tickets that originally expired on December 30, 2020 or March 31, 2021 had the expiration date extended to December 16, 2021. It sounds like you already linked the tickets to your Disney account on
Disneyland.com or the
Disneyland mobile app to check the current expiration date. If the date shown isn’t what you were expecting or you have more questions, feel free to call the ticket helpline at (714) 781-4636.
As you mentioned,
theme park reservations for existing ticket holders can be made starting on April 12, 2021, subject to availability. Don’t worry; if you’re not able to use your tickets prior to the expiration date, you still have options to visit the parks. Unless otherwise stated, the amount paid for most expired but totally unused Disneyland Resort theme park tickets can be applied to the purchase of a new ticket at the current price, assuming the new ticket’s price is equal to or greater than the amount you paid for the original ticket.
I hope this answers your question, Marilen, and that you’re able to plan a pixie-dusted vacation with your family soon! Please write back if you have any more questions.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
